Newly designed EF mounting adapter enables MAVO/TERRA to support most EF lenses right after you mount it on KineMOUNT. (Please visit and buy the  EF Mounting Adapter II with KineEnhancer if you want to shoot with Full Frame lenses.)

It is quite easy and reliable to mount EF adapter to KineMOUNT, just like attaching an EF lens to an EF mount.

Attention: Power down camera when swapping different adapters, else camera or adapters may be burned. 

How to Attach the EF lens to the EF mount?

Steps of attaching EF lens to lock-style EF mount as following, are very different from DSLR lens and camera:

  1. Rotate locking ring of EF mount clockwise till stop;
  2. Take off all the caps or covers from camera and lens mount;
  3. Align red dot on lens, white line on locking ring and dot on mount. And make sure that the pin on mount matches the hole of lens;
  4. Rotate locking ring (NOT lens) counter-clockwise until fastened firmly.

Note: please hold the lens to prevent the lens from dropping accidentally when loosening the locking ring to remove the lens.

No, the Mounting Adapter II has circuit protection.

Note: FFD of KineMOUNT is very short, and the mount looks like PL mount. NEVER try to attach any lens into the KineMOUNT directly, in case the rear of lens bump into the CMOS sensor, which leads to permanent damage.

    1. Power down: Power down camera at first when remove or install any mounting adapters;
    2. Release: Rotate the locking ring of KineMOUNT in Counter-Clockwise way;
    3. Install the adapter to KineMOUNT: when attaching the mounting adaptor to KineMOUNT, please ensure the two holes in the adaptor match the two pins of KineMOUNT;
    4. Lock: Rotate the locking ring of KineMOUNT to fasten adapter with KineMOUNT firmly in Clockwise way.Power on camera after mount the adapter. Press “CONFIG” and check the bottom of this menu, if it presents EF sys 9(or other number), it means you have mounted the adapter successfully.

For camera mounted with compatible lens, rotate the Multifunction Wheel to adjust the iris. If camera is equipped with SideGrip, the Multifunction Wheel on the SideGrip can also be used to control iris.
